Property Accessibility Features

Due to our most recent renovation, Olea Hotel meets the 1991 ADA accessibility standards and the California Building Code. Please contact the hotel for any questions or requests prior to arrival.

Accessibility features at Olea Hotel include the following:

  • Convenient path of travel from the accessible parking spot in the surface lot to the check-in area, lobby, pool, and guestrooms. Please follow the appropriate signage.
  • Registration desk does have an option to check-in at a lower height.
  • Our pool and hot tub have ADA lifts available for use at any time.
  • All room entrances meet the 1991 ADA accessibility standards and California Building Code including upper level rooms via an elevator. These entrances do not have a door threshold so wheelchairs can easily enter.
  • Accessibility features of the Hillside Queen Deluxe Room:
    • A bathroom with a roll-in shower equipped with a wall pull-down chair and hand-held showering device
    • Visual fire alarm with strobe
    • Bathroom grab bars (shower and commode area)
    • Closed-caption TV
  • Accessibility features of the Lower Garden Cottage:
    • A bathroom with a roll-in shower equipped with a wall pull-down chair and hand-held showering device
    • Visual fire alarm with strobe
    • Bathroom grab bars (shower and commode area)
    • Closed-caption TV
    • 36” clearance around the king-sized bed
    • This room meets the requirements for guests with hearing impairments:
      • Hardwired visual fire alarm with strobe
      • Hardwired illuminated doorbell with strobe notification
      • Please Note: Olea Hotel does not have room telephones

Web Accessibility Policy

We strive to provide services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of persons with disabilities. We have established policies and procedures to ensure we provide goods and services to all our customers in a manner consistent with this core value.

It is our policy to remove barriers to full access to our products and services whenever that is readily achievable, and to develop products and services with accessibility standards considered. We are committed to ensuring the accessibility of our websites to persons with disabilities. To achieve this goal, we have adopted the following guidelines:

We will measure and track our progress to ensure we continually make improvements to address the evolving industry standards and to meet the accessibility needs of our customers and visitors to our websites.

Questions or complaints regarding our website may be directed to Olea Hotel by email at stay@oleahotel.com. A member of our team will review the question or complaint and respond within forty-eight (48) hours. Our response will include actions we have taken, or will take, to resolve the issue. We may also refer to alternative assistive measures which may resolve or address the question or complaint.
