About Sonoma Canopy Tours
There isn’t a better way to explore California’s majestic redwoods than with Sonoma Canopy Tours! With seven different zip lines, two sky bridges at 110 feet, a 45-foot rappel, and one zip line that spans over 1,500 feet, there is something for everyone at Sonoma Canopy Tours!
The Tree Tops Tour
You’ll reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour on the Tree Tops Tour, making it Sonoma Canopy Tours’ fastest course. In addition, with a zip line that spans 1,500 feet long and 250 feet above the forest, it is also the longest and highest. During this tour, you will enjoy seven zips, two sky bridges, and a rappel round at the end which brings you back to the forest floor!
The Forest Flight Tour
The Forest Flight Tour is less intense, but also provides stunning views of the redwoods. It is a bit slower with maximum speeds of 30 miles per hour, with its longest zip spanning 800 feet long and 200 feet tall. On this tour, you experience seven zip lines, two sky bridges, and a rappel for the finale. For those interested in touring the redwoods by evening, the Night Flight Tour is the perfect way to do it. It is the same tour as the Forest Flight, only offered by sunset and night!
Helpful Information for Your Trip
- The zip lines run through rain and shine, so dress appropriately. Wear layers, especially raincoats and rain pants.
- Sonoma Canopy Tours is located in a rural area among countless redwood trees, so there is no cell phone reception and GPS may not work. Plan ahead and get directions in advance.
- If you plan a trip to Sonoma Canopy Tours, take your time to explore the surrounding area. We recommend a trip to Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve and Goat Rock Sonoma Coast State Park!
